Evaluating Conversational Agents for Accessibility

Voice-activated personal agents (VAPAs) such as Alexa and Siri provided a new way to access web information to blind users. Our research aimed to measure VAPAs’s performance and identify new opportunities to leverage web tables for finding answers. We collected questions from crowd-workers, analyzed performance results, noted several ways VAPAs can further improve for accessibility. As a team, we submitted our researching finding to CHI Conference 2019. View the research submission below.
